They knew that celebrating sin would cause conflict in true believers souls and the donors would have a difficult decision to make. In these versus Paul lists several grievances he has with the Roman Church, equating all of them. Paul then reminds us what we deserve for our actions. At least 4 of Jesus disciples were fishermen. Why would Jesus call so many people from one profession? Fishermen are consumed with their work they are either sorting/cleaning their catch, preparing for a catch or mending their equipment, this includes the boat. Fishing is also slightly dangerous with the possibility of drowning due to storms or equipment being cast out. Jesus picked men who he knew would be busy and brave.
