I’m assuming this is in regards to CURRENT American policies that you disagree with? I noticed this post specifically mentions the Bible; are we this critical of the Quran, The Tao Te Ching, The Pāli Canon and the faiths associated with them?  If you branch outside the USA and all religions you’re asking entire regimes and governments to step down which will not be done peacefully, in fact the mere pessimistic talk of certain religions in certain parts of the globe will end with you in prison or worse.

What if the majority of your constituency identifies as very religious such as Mississippi and the Carolinas where over 50% identify as highly religious? Do you have a duty to serve that public?

The United States Constitution, Bill Of Rights and the abolishment of slavery all happened due to Christian morals and ethics. The Constitution states that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights. Should the founders have been “removed from their positions”?

It’s amazing that God given unalienable Rights allows for the cancelation of the very morals and ethics that gave it to us. Blanket statements like this are scary and can lead, very quickly, to the criminalization of the first amendment. Aren’t you asking for people to step aside based on religion?
