How crazy is it that trying to prevent physical and chemical castration, genital mutilation and the use of irreversible drugs on MINORS would be such an awful, radical idea.

The left is amazing in deception with language. Republicans are “restricting” “rights” and banning “medical care”. This is how the left views the slicing and dicing of perfectly healthy reproductive organs of MINORS. We don’t allow minors to consume alcohol or tobacco, rent cars or take out loans because their brains are not fully developed BUT making life changing decisions involving gender and genitals is perfectly acceptable. This article never lists the ages that bill affect because they don’t want to humanize these children. If they make is up to be a civil rights battle, that is something progressives can support.

This article also tells a gigantic fib. I’ve talked about this previously but a massive 2016 pup-med study titled “Suicide and Suicidal Behavior among Transgender Persons” proves the exact opposite that the major factor in preventing suicide among the Trans community is maturity. The Suicide rate dramatically drops after 35.

"I mean they're trying to do sex change operations on minors, giving them puberty blockers and doing things that are irreversible to them," the Republican governor said.

Many Republican supporters of the bills distrust the prevailing medical consensus, which endorses gender-af rming care and in some cases considers it life-saving. Instead, opponents of transgender healthcare claim it is dangerous and experimental, with some labeling the measures as chemical castration or child abuse.
