If this decision is overturned would you allow religious flags to fly, this might include the Christian or Satanic? School should be for education not politics and according to Democrats nothing religious related. Baltimore County and City should take a look at one of the most successful school systems in the state and instead of criticizing, maybe learn something. Critics don’t actually want inclusion for all, they want their voting block to be free and force everyone else to “hide their identities”. The law allows students to wear LBGTQ shirts and pins, would everyone be ok with MAGA and other republican attire?

The policy features numerous exceptions for other types of  ags including for sports teams and other countries. Critics say the policy sends a negative message to gay students and could encourage additional bullying of LGBTQ youth.

Some said the Pride flag was no different from a  flag for former President Donald Trump bearing the slogan "Make America Great Again."

At the board meeting, the system noted that students would still be able to wear Pride pins and flags on their clothing. They also mentioned that offensive flags such as the Confederate Battle Flag and the Nazi flag have been banned in county schools for years.
