I very rarely post articles from conservative leaning media sources ( I think this is the second one). However this story is fascinating. For the sake of arguing with a Liberal Larry or Linda for all eternity about whether the white flag incident did or didn’t happen, let’s agree that no left leaning media source has confirmed it. HOWEVER, we all have to admit Trump and Romney were much more accurate in their perception and foreign policy with Russia then, Obama, Biden, Germany and most NATO countries. Yet Trump’s and Romney’s comments were mocked and deemed “provocative” by CNN at the time.

Trump approved sanctions on the pipeline in December 2019, claiming it would make Berlin a 'hostage of Russia.'

President Joe Biden waived those sanctions in May of last year in an effort to thaw relations with Europe. The project was already 95 percent complete at the time.
